"Our gin tells the story of our homeland—handcrafted with respect for nature, from regional orchards, and with a lot of passion."
Between orchard meadow & copper kettle
Our story begins in the summer of 2022 with a chance meeting in the Mössingen orchards in the Steinlachtal Valley of the Swabian Alb. Here, among rake makers, moon catchers, and penny splitters, D' GIN is born. Inspired by ancient knowledge and the almost lost art of distilling, by old fruit varieties and the rediscovery of independent times. What better embodies these values than a fine gin? 100 percent handmade and distilled in small batches using the traditional dry distilling method.
Driven by a love of gin and nature, the yields from the orchards are used to create a gin from the region for the region and beyond. The gin is distilled in an ancient 148L copper still, first documented in 1776. Only high-quality botanicals from sustainable cultivation and regional producers are used. D' Gin is a gin start-up that is very proud to preserve the culinary diversity of fruit and to call four regional gins its own.

Handmade with character
D'Gin is 100% handmade! – and is distilled according to our own recipe using 13 botanicals. 12 for character and taste buds, and one for interplay and harmony. Throughout the entire distillation process in the 148-liter copper kettle, the master distiller ensures gentle and consistently high quality. Originally, the still was heated by fire – 100% artisanal for almost 450 years.
From the selection of our botanicals, including lemongrass and cherries from sustainable cultivation, to maceration and distillation, hand-bottling, manual labeling of the bottles including hand-numbering, and the application and sealing of the cork, everything is truly handmade. Our conviction and pure passion are infused into every bottle. This guarantees complete control and the highest quality in every single D' Gin. We're convinced, and you can taste it.
